First Tee – Delaware is proud of the role we’re playing in helping more young girls embrace the game of golf and what they can learn through it. Thanks to many female coaches and leaders throughout our chapter, we provide a safe place where girls can come, be themselves and learn from coaches and role models on the course and in life!

Thanks to organizations like USGA (a Founding Partner), LPGA-USGA Girls Golf, DWGA (Delaware Women’s Golf Association), Women Golfers Give Back (WGGB) and many others, we continue to intentionally offer opportunities for girls’ personal growth and development in many ways.

Together, we are also working the DWGA and the DIAA (Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association) to grow girls’ golf at the competitive level throughout Delaware. By increasing participation, creating more opportunities for girls to learn and compete, and building a stronger pipeline of young female golfers, our ultimate goal is to see girls’ golf recognized as its own interscholastic sport in the state. Achieving that milestone would give more girls the opportunity to compete alongside their peers, represent their schools, and continue developing the confidence, leadership and lifelong skills that golf provides.
