Whether you’re coming to compete, cheer on your children & friends, purchase & watch some balls drop, or simply enjoy great food and music with people you love – we are so glad you’re participating.
This event is more than a fundraiser. It’s a glimpse into what First Tee – Delaware is all about: using golf as a vehicle to grow the next generation of confident, resilient, and community-minded young people. We hope this event inspires you – and your family – to become part of our story.

PUTTING CONTEST
Who: Ages 4 through 12
Entry: $20 per player (max 50 players total)
Includes: Food ticket (choice of hot dog or chicken fingers, chips & soda)
Format: 3 putts per player
Three putts in the qualifying round
One putt in final round
Participants will compete in one of three age divisions:
• Ages 4–6
• Ages 7–9
• Ages 10–12
Prizes will be awarded in each age group
Qualifying: 5:00 PM sharp
Playoffs: 7:15 PM
CLOSEST TO THE PIN CONTEST
Who: Ages 13 and up — teens and adults
Entry: $20 per player (max 50 players total)
Includes: Food ticket (choice of hot dog or chicken fingers, chips & soda)
Format: 3 drives per player
Three drives in the qualifying round
One drive in final round
Compete in one of 3 Flights
Please choose honestly so everyone competes fairly!
Flight A – Experienced Golfers
• Regular players
• Tournament participants
• Golfers with established handicaps
Flight B – Recreational Golfers
• Casual golfers
• Outing participants
• Those familiar with the game
Flight C – New Golfers
• Beginners age 13 and older
• Anyone new to the game
Prizes will be awarded in each flight
Qualifying: 5:00 PM sharp
Playoffs: 7:15 PM
BALL DROP – $20 per ball
Who: Open to all ages and all guests — Here, There & Anywhere – Everyone can participate!
Drop time: Promptly at 7:50 PM
No need to be present to win!
How it works: Purchase a ball(s). Our system automatically assigns the numbers. At 7:50 PM, all balls drop simultaneously. The first ball in = 1st place, second ball in = 2nd place, third ball in = 3rd place. If no balls land in the hole we will use the three closest balls to the hole.
Cash Prizes:
• 1st Place: $500
• 2nd Place: $250
• 3rd Place: $100
Prize amounts may increase if ticket sales significantly exceed expectations — another great reason to spread the word!
Where to buy tickets:
Online: Available now(click the button above) — site closes at 4:00 PM on July 25th
At the event: Available at the registration table until 7:00 PM
Winners will be contacted directly if not present at the event.
